POS Cloud Connect solves this problem by providing ISVs and merchants the ability to keep their legacy POS systems. And they can do this while still meeting the EMV and PCI requirements. POS Cloud Connect is a semi-integrated solution that ensures payment terminals are connected with POS software. It does this while maintaining separation between payment information transmission and other systems. For merchants to become PCI compliant without extensive investment into fully integrated compliant systems, semi-integration offers a cost-effective compliance resolution.
POS Cloud Connect enables merchants to process PCI compliant EMV and non-EMV transactions using our proprietary PCI Level 1 payment cloud. This allows the POS and payment terminal to be unencumbered at the merchant’s location. There’s no need for hardware to be connected directly to the POS system using USB, RS232, or any other local connection method. Additional software components, like DLLs, are not required to drive the hardware connected to the POS system. Connectivity to payment terminals is accomplished using the POS Cloud Connector payment cloud. This takes the POS system completely out of PCI scope. Additionally, POS Cloud Connect supports Bluetooth, WiFi, GPRS, and CDMA connection methods, allowing for complete freedom for the terminal.Sign up Now
POS Cloud Connect is designed to work with the PAX, Ingenico, and Exadigm terminals and PIN pad devices. This includes the ability to get a private label version of the POS Cloud Connect that any ISV can easily code to send EMV and all other types of transactions to any payment processing platform. POS Cloud Connect comes with our proprietary TMS (Terminal Management System). This is a core part of our cloud offering. It allows us to communicate with all of the deployed terminals in the field. It also gives us the ability to update them remotely with new POS software. This is in addition to new offerings, such as adding gift cards or loyalty programs to their POS terminals without taking the terminal offline to be downloaded. Click here for more information on the TMS system.
POS Cloud Connect partners can get access to our new tablet-based AIO EMV device. AIO is a dual-processor Android terminal. It works where one processor drives the Android UI and the other drives the terminal. It’s similar in look to POYNT, but that’s where the resemblance ends. Now any ISV, VAR, or software integrator can code to our AIO in minutes and be fully EMV and PCI/PADSS ready. One simple API line of code allows any Android to work on the device. This lets you run EMV and swipe transactions without requiring certification to the processor. Click here for more information on the AIO device.
