Credit Card Processing in QuickBooks

When working within QuickBooks for your business accounting needs, there are not a lot of options when it comes to accepting credit cards.  Most credit card processors require you to use their merchant account.

Card Swipe In QuickBooks

Record the sale in QuickBooks as an invoice or sales receipt. When you click the Save button, the system prompts you if you would like to process the charge. Upon confirmation, the charge is processed securely over the Internet and payment is recorded in QuickBooks. A pending sales receipt will be “closed” or an invoice will be marked “Paid” along with a payment reference.  Your payments will be processed safe and secure thru the PrismPay Payment Gateway.

You can manually key in credit card numbers or process a swiped credit card using a USB Card Swiper.  Swiping your cards thru the USB swiper will process your transactions at the lower swiped rates.
